Pres. Trump will impose a further 25% tariff on India imports.
The tariff is in response to India shopping for Russian oil and with expectations of future sanctions on Russia to influence them to cease the conflict in Ukraine, India shall be an instance of the penalties for getting their oil (and different items).
Trump needs the products coming to the US, and the US oil going to India.
