There might be a 2nd spherical of voting ….WAIT…the gavel has not dropped on the primary vote

With three voting for “Others”, present Home Speaker Johnson got here up 2 votes shy of the 216 wanted to safe the Speaker place.

There’ll apparently be a 2nd vote shortly.

Voting for “others”?

• Rep Massie (Kentucky)
• Rep Ralph Norman (South Carolina)
• Rep Keith Self (Texas)

Massie has mentioned that he would somewhat pull out his finger nails earlier than voting for Johnson. That leaves it as much as Rep Norman (from SC) and Rep Keith Self (Texas) to change to Johnson.

Pres. Elect Trump endorsed Johnson.

Evidently, IF the vote can undergo on the primary tally it could look higher for Trump and painting a “extra united” GOP. I might not be stunned if Pres. elect Trump is twisting some arms.
